Welcome to River Road Unitarian Universalist Congregation. This place is full of vibrant fellowship, deepening spirituality and justice-seeking. We endeavor to engage both the minds and spirits of people of all ages in this place and I hope you’ll reach out to me or one of our other ministerial and staff leaders to find the best way for you and your family to become involved.
As Senior Minister, I am the primary leader of worship here at RRUUC. I also oversee our talented staff and guide congregational programming and resources. Our ministerial team shares responsibility for pastoral care and committee leadership, though my particular passions lie with social justice and the arts of worship.
This work is truly my calling and it is an honor to share it with all of you. Each day, I see evidence that this community has the power to transform lives. We deepen our spirits together. When we’re lucky and diligent, we can even change the world.
I received my Master’s of Divinity from Meadville Lombard theological school and was ordained in 2004. Before joining River Road as Senior Minister, I served the Bull Run Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Manassas, VA for eight years.
I live just a few miles from the congregation with my husband Jonathan and our daughter, Ruth and son, Jed.
